From Atholl road car park cycle on to the pamin street in Pitlochry and turn left. Follow this road and take a left downhill to Faskally Boating Station – after the boating station café take a track alongside Loch Faskally. When the track swings inland there are small wooden steps signposted to the caravan site – we advise you to take this easier route.
Expert riders can follow the path alongside the river however please be cautious as this is a technical route with steep banks. Walking is advised.
For the easier route follow signs for the caravan park until you meet a tarmac road. Turn left onto this private road until you meet a public road. Turn left and cycle along the pavement – please respect other users of this pavement. Keep going straight across at the road junction to Tummel Bridge and after another 300m of road take a back left downhill (tarmac). Turn right up river to Killiecrankie Visitor Centre.
Follow path up to Killiecrankie Vistor Centre passing the famous ‘Soldier’s Leap’ on the way. There are many steps and it is advised that you walk your bike up to the centre.
